This was a wonderful day for me! Good friends; a WAVE honored by the Navy! I had never met Irene before except, of course, on line; it was a pleasure to have her visit my home; Berenice was national president of WAVES National when I was forming my Unit; would never have made it through the process without her guidance!

Good friends! Seeing a former 'companion' being honored! What more can anyone ask!
