Thank you Lane for being so blunt. It gets to be very disappointing to not have a calm place to go to and "relax" with old friends. Our church website has recently been infested with political views and sniping. Pat Holcombe, I am so glad you are feeling up to tuning in again. I have spent the last week in Indiana sitting by my mom's hospital bed as she recovers from back surgery. She is in rehab now. I plan on going back up when she gets to go back to her house. Her hospital stay was a real eye opener for me. Heaven help the patient who doesn't have someone by their side to be their advocate. Pat, I plan on coming down to Destin with my guys tomorrow. Were you affected by Ivan? WE delayed our vacation because of him. I am looking forward to doing nothing this coming week.

I *really* try to stay out of your discussions, because I have great respect
for your ongoing contributions to WAVES National and our country at large.
But I must insist that you keep your personal attacks off of ALLHANDS.
If you disagree with how someone is behaving on the list then please contact
me directly and I will deal with it.
Name calling and character assassination should be left to professional
politicians!
ALLHANDS will not tolerate the use of the word "stupid" or any of its
derivations, when used to characterize a member of the list.

P.S. Mom is doing well, and she appreciates your consideration of her
absence. I have "seen" her online more frequently, of late, and look
forward
to her rejoining your conversations, soon. (Probably *AFTER* the next
national election, though.... she's too disgusted with the effect this
upcoming election has had on otherwise good people to even keep up with the
race!).
