Thank you, Fran, for this website. It is quite informative. I am not too
pleased with our local congressman, that is for sure, but Congressman Lane Evans
(IL) has been so supportive of Veterans Issues, as he is on the Veterans
Affairs Committee.
I wrote him several months ago regarding my benefits claims that have not
been addressed by the VA office in St. Louis. He immediately fired off a letter
to them to inquire about the hold-up, since my claims were all
service-connected. I received a favorable answer this past week from the VA and my claims
were settled. :)
I strongly advise any one who has a veteran's benefit concern to write to
Congressman Lane Evans. He does get results.
