WAVES were an integral part of the Navy forces during World War ll.

Deeds were accomplished which no one thought could be done by women.

There is no history, no chronicle, relating the things done by that group of young women, as there is nothing about the Yeomanettes of World War I.

Because of that, we hope to write our own history. But in order to do that, we need the history!

That is where you come in.

Write your history. Or just snippets of your history, one of your favorite memories, that sort of thing.

Please include your name and the date of the event so that we may give you credit and also have a better understanding of what time in the WW1 your history piece happened.

If you have pictures you'd like to share with us, that would be really terrific.

Send whatever you have to Pat Holcombe

Thanks
